The Restaurant takes its name from Vittoria Caldoni, a beautiful girl from Albano with an extraordinary charm, that inspired painters and historians all around the world. Our restaurant is a point of reference of the local cuisine and is famous for the quality of the food and the accurate service. Our fine cuisine offers not only a delicious menù à la carte, that brings guests back to important moments of gastronomic history of the Roman Castles, but also personalized menus for each ceremony and event. The wine list is monthly updated in order to choose the best local and italian wines. On request we can organize visits for groups in local cellars, to show the winemaking process and for a wine tasting. During summertime the restaurant service will be provided also in the garden. Menù In our winter menù we propose local cold cuts , from the region of Abruzzo and Siena, the “culatello” and a selection of D.O.P. cheeses. Also Chickpea soup and salt cod, spelled soup with boletus mushrooms, ravioli with ricotta, sausage and saffron of Navello, noodles with black truffle from Norcia and dishes of our region are on the winter menù. To mention also lamb cutlets with fried artichokes, “coda alla vaccinara”and “trippa alla romana” and the roast suckling pig, without forgetting the several fish dishes. In the summer menù fresh fish is placed at the top: monkfish, tuna fish, young anchovies, lobsters….but different types of mushrooms are used in several dishes. Not to forgot the “mozzarella di bufala” from Campania served with rocket and pachino tomatoes. The famous strawberries from Nemi and the wild berries are often used for tasty desserts. The adjacent bar is a meeting point for an aperitif, for tea and coffee and for more. Our selection of sparkling wine , french wine of Vignerons and also italian sparkling wines is in great demand. Our Wine Bar is open every day and guests can taste the best sorts of local and italian wines. The Wine Bar is equipped with an “Enomatic” machine . In the summer guests can enjoy the external space and the shadow of the trees.
